Argentine Football Star Lionel Messi could be in hot waters and might face FIFA ban if he fails to resolve the contract dispute with his current club Barcelona.

According to the details, Messi has told Barcelona bosses that he wants to leave the club this summer and play for Manchester City.

However, this might get him to face him ban by FIFA if he decides to pursue his career somewhere else without solving the contract dispute with his current club Barcelona.

Barca vowed not to let go of their prized asset for nothing and a Spanish sports lawyer warned any move could involve considerable legal wrangling over Messi’s contract with the Catalan club.

Messi has even told Barcelona that he will not undergo the Covid-19 test this weekend, which is mandatory for all at the club before they resume training for next season.
