In the upcoming Test series, former cricketer and fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar wants Pakistan cricket team to play aggressively if the situation demands to play defensive.

Taking to his Twitter account, the Rawalpindi Express shared his thoughts about the Pakistani cricket squad. He said that the team has all the resources to beat England.

“Pakistan has all the weaponry to make them win by going with an aggressive mindset. Hopefully, the team will show aggression if the situation demands to play defensive,” said Akhtar.

He went on to say that,

“Pakistan bowling is great, having the likes of Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi. Pakistan is a very good side and will be more competitive than the West Indies.”

He concluded by wishing the team good luck and told them to win the series.

It is pertinent to mention here that the first Test is scheduled to start from August 5 in Manchester.
