“We are considering the option of playing two spinners and will decide after looking at the pitch and the weather conditions today and tomorrow. Yes, it is a possibility and an encouraging sign for us.”

Former cricketer Misbah also told the reporters that the cricket pitch and weather conditions may help to win the series but still, they will execute the plan to win against England in their own homeland.

“It’s a confidence booster for the team when conditions are favoring you but the only guarantee of a win is when we will play good cricket. The English team is not easy on their own soil but we have a good chance to win,” said Misbah.

Talking about Babar Azam, Misbah said,

“Looking at his stats in all formats, his performances are getting better day by day and hopefully, he will play well here too.”

He believes that the team has adjusted to the England conditions as they are in the country for more than a month.

“Overall satisfied with the preparation. We started from zero after being away from cricket due to COVID-19. The team is in good shape and looking forward to going in the series on the back of good practice,” he concluded.
