The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and renowned Juventus striker tested positive for novel coronavirus on the 13th of this month.

The 35-year-old has left Portugal’s training group after being tested positive for coronavirus, where he was preparing for the Nations League match against Sweden.

Ronaldo is the third Portugal player to test positive in recent days, with Jose Fonte and Anthony Lopes receiving positive test results last week.

He is currently self-isolating and has reportedly displayed no symptoms. The Portuguese Football Federation added that Ronaldo has quarantined himself at home.
