Fans, friends, and fellow cricketers are sending special wishes to Pakistan Captain Babar Azam as he turns 26 today.

Babar Azam is trending on top in Pakistan where the birthday wishes for the legendary player are pouring in after every minute.

Skipper Babar Azam made his debut in 2015 and ended the quest. The youngster burst by playing one staggering knocks after another and soon became a household name for the cricket fans.

Currently the captain of Pakistan in white-ball cricket, Azam is a technically-sound batsman whose record in all forms of cricket is nothing but amazing.

Babar Azam is currently the only batsman in the world to be ranked among the top-five in all formats.

Top T20 runs scorer in 2020

On October 12, Babar Azam named another impressive achievement to his name on Monday morning when he surpassed Alex Hales as the leading T20 runs scorer in 2020.

Azam, 25, played an unbeaten inning of 64* to help his side Central Punjab beat Balochistan in the National T20 Cup match in Rawalpindi.

This was also Babar’s third consecutive half-century in the tournament.

The innings took Babar’s total runs tally of T20 runs in this year to 942,  the most by any cricketer in the ongoing calendar year.

He surpassed England’s Alex Hales who has, so far, scored 895 runs in the year.
