Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Karachi is once again ready to host remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches.

According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has assured to hold the remaining 4 matches of PSL Five in a grand manner.

Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government has already played an extensive role in organizing cricket matches in Karachi and this time too the PCB would extend full cooperation.

He said that it is hoped that the SOPs of COVID-19 will be implemented.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that we are also ready to host international tournaments.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that all the three T20 matches in the series against Zimbabwe will be shifted to Rawalpindi due to smog in Lahore while the remaining matches of PSL 2020 will be shifted to Karachi.

The PCB decided to shift the scheduled matches in Lahore to Rawalpindi and Karachi next month keeping in view the health of the players due to the possible intensity of smog in Lahore.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan said, “We have been keeping a close watch on the changing weather conditions for the last few weeks and as soon as we get information about the increase in smog in Lahore next month, we will not compromise on the health of the players and it has been decided to shift these matches to Rawalpindi and Karachi immediately.

“The PCB regrets that Lahore is not hosting the Pakistan Super League (PSL) play-off matches for the second time in a row, but the health of the players and officials is paramount to us,” he said.
