All-rounder Shoaib Malik is not going to pick for Zimbabwe series.T20 series is going to be played in the end of this October. Chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq wants to give a chance to hard hitter Khushdil Shah. He has played for Southern Punjab in National T20 tournament.

Shoaib Malik has failed to give up to the mark performance in the national T20 tournament, contributing only just 177 runs although which came from in a single innings in 10 matches.

While, Khushdil Shah has been in dazzling form for Southern Punjab, and he is not only the fifth highest runs scorer but also holds the division of being the fastest of century in T20 by a Pakistani.

The sources further said, Mohammad Rizwan’s performance is strictly monitored as well as his promotion in the batting order for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was apparently on Misbah’s approval as he scored two half centuries as an opener for his side of the team and is going to retain his spot for T20 series against Zimbabwe in position of Sarfaraz.
