In the first one-day international against Australia, the Indian team was fined for slow over rate.

According to the details, all the Indian players have been fined 20% of the match due to slow over rate against Australia in the first ODI match to be played in Sydney on Friday.

Match referee David Bone, a member of the ICC Elite Panel, has imposed the fine on the Indian team for not completing the overs on time.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has admitted his guilt and accepted the punishment, so there is no need for a formal hearing.

It should be noted that in the first ODI match played yesterday, Australia easily defeated India by 66 runs thanks to the centuries of captain Aaron Finch and Steve Smith to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
