National tennis championship to start from December 14

The 6th Benazir Bhutto (Shaheed) National Tennis Championship 2020 will begin on December 14 (Monday).

According to the details, 12 tennis events will be held at the Tennis Complex including Men Singles / Men Doubles / Women Singles / 18 & under boys Singles / 14 & under boys Singles / 14 & under girl singles / 12 & Under Singles (Boys/Girls mix) / 10 & Under Singles (Boys/Girls mix) / Seniors Doubles 45+ / Seniors Doubles 60+ / Special Children (Intellectually Challenged) / Media Singles.

All the events will be supervised by Iran’s Adel Borghei while Shezad Alvi has been appointed as the championship referee. All ITF and PTF rules will be followed.

An Under 14 category has been introduced to promotes tennis in girls alongside a space for special children.

It should be noted here that Pakistan will host two junior events after the permission of the International Tennis Federation. The tournament will be hosted by Islamabad from November 23 to December 5.

Players from UAE, Turkey, Russia, Japan, UK, Nepal will participate in the tournament.
