Green shirts lost to Blackcaps with 27 balls spared to the game’s end left the cricket lovers heart-broken on the fifth day of the match.

New Zealand won the first test match against Pakistan and lead the test series with 1-0.

A century by Fawad Alam and his long 6th wicket stand of 165 runs with stand-in captain Mohammad Rizwan gave Pakistan some hopes of saving the test. Regrettably, that was not enough against the highly-determined Kiwis’ bowling attack.

An excellent match played by both the teams but in the end, New Zealand won the test match by 101 runs.

Pakistan’s no 10/11 are amongst the poorest batsman in tests – to expect them to bat out a draw against 1 of the most complete bowling units is a ludicrous expectation. What’s compelling about this is the determination of these kiddos – they’re kids. Shows exceptional promise.
