On Saturday, the current BCCI President and former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly suffered mild cardiac arrest and was admitted to a private hospital.

According to the details, Ganguly was admitted to a private hospital in Calcutta after he felt pain in his chest while working out in the morning.

An Indian news outlet said that BCCI President felt dizzy while his morning workout and added that the former Indian cricketer will be discharged after an angioplasty.

Jay Shah, BCCI Secretary also confirmed the news and wished him a “speedy recovery” and told that Ganguly is now in a stable condition and responding positively to treatment.

International Cricket Council (ICC) along with other Indian cricketers wished Ganguly for a speedy recovery.

Virat Kohli took to his Twitter and wrote,

Pakistani former cricketer and former Pakistan cricket team coach Waqar Younis also prayed for Ganguly’s health and wrote,
