Earlier on 27th February, Peshawar Zalmi won by 3 wickets in a thrilling way against Quetta Gladiators in the 8^th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 at Nation Stadium Karachi (NSK).

On the other hand, Islamabad United had defeated Karachi Kings by 5 wickets in the seventh match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 played on 24th February.
