Babar Azam climbs to No 2 in ODI batting rankings

Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam has retained the third spot in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 rankings for batsmen.

According to the ICC, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli jumped to fourth position in the latest T20I rankings for batsmen following his unbeaten 80 in the final T20I against England. His spectacular performance helped India clinch the five-match series 3-2.

Dawid Malan of England who scored a 46-ball 68 in the last game, retained his top spot at the table with 892 rating points followed by Aaron Finch who earned 830 points.

Whereas in the ODI rankings, Kohli continued to top the list of ODI batsmen. Babar Azam climbed to number two position. Earning 837 rating points, Azam is No. 2, and Sharma, with one point fewer, is at No. 3.  Jonny Bairstow climbed four places after his blazing 66-ball 94 in the first ODI against India in Pune. Jonny Bairstow is now in the seventh spot with 775 rating points.
