PAK VS SA: Pakistan Team cleared to fly after testing negative for covid-19

The 35-member national cricket contingent has been cleared to fly to South Africa after all members tested negative in the final round of Covid-19 testing on Thursday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced.

Pakistani squad of 35 members has been cleared to fly South Africa after all players tested negative for covid-19.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that,

“All 35 members of the Africa-bound side, including 22 players and 13 officials, have tested negative and, as such, the side will depart for Johannesburg, South Africa, on a chartered flight on Friday morning.”

Earlier, pacer Hassan Ali had tested positive for covid-19 in the first test that took at individual residences, but later after he allowed to join the bio-secure bubble at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore after returning to negative covid result.

Green shirts will play three One-Day Internationals and four T20 Internationals from April 2 to April 16 against Proteas.
