Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that three more players from two different teams have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to the statement by the Pakistan Cricket Board that the infected players will now self-isolate for 10 days.

PCB in its statement added that the three players were not part of the sides that featured in Wednesday’s Pakistan Super League 6 double-header, and had been tested in the afternoon after showing symptoms.

The PSL 6 organizing committee will hold a virtual meeting with the team owners and management later on Thursday, following which a further update will be provided.

In Wednesday’s doubleheader, Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets, whereas Quetta Gladiators claimed victory against Multan Sultans by 22 runs at National Stadium Karachi (NSK).

In the first match of the day, the duo Babar Azam and Mohammad Nabi were the notables as they led Karachi Kings to defeat Peshawar Zalmi. Both the players scored 118 runs to help Kings chase down 189 runs. Mohammad Nabi has also been named as the ‘Player Of The Match‘.

On the other hand, the team Quetta Gladiators have won their 1st match in the PSL 6 finally after losing 4 consecutive matches, brilliant all-round performance from Gladiators with batting, balling, and fielding.
