Three members part of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 have contracted coronavirus.

As per the details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) mentioned that 244 PCR tests have been conducted after Islamabad United player Fawad Ahmed tested positive for Covid-19.

PCB’s director Media Sami-ul-Hasan said addressing a press conference that coronavirus positives are two foreign players and one is from the supportive staff. They will be kept in isolation for 10 days.

Sami further said that the PCR tests’ reports of one team will be revealed soon and the total number of PCR tests will exceed 280+.

Earlier, Fawad Ahmed had shown symptoms two days ago and had been immediately isolated, his franchise Islamabad United said.

Other members of Islamabad United have returned negative tests while the Quetta Gladiators players are being tested.
