Proteas have been fined 20 percent of the match fee due to the slow over-rate against Pakistan in the first one-day international at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

According to the reports, match referee Andrew Pycoft charged the fine after knowing that the South African team was one over short of target after time allowances were taken into consideration.

Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma accepted the fine and feel guilty about it.

Earlier, South Africa won the second one-day international (ODI) by 17 runs. Opening batsman Fakhar Zaman gave a tremendous performance by scoring 193 off 155 balls with 10 sixes and 18 fours. He could probably have scored 200, but he was run out by Quinton de Kock.

But the run-out was hard to ignore. Netizens believed that Quinton de Kock distracted Fakhar Zaman at that moment. Video of the run out caught attention as the South African wicket-keeper is trending on top on Twitter.
