Sachin Tendulkar hospitalized after contracting coronavirus

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar contracted coronavirus six days ago. Now, he has been hospitalized as a precautionary measure.

The legend batsman announced the news on Twitter.

The 47-year-old sportsman wrote, “Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone.”

India had won cricket world cup on April 2, 2011. Sachin Tendulkar wished the team on the 10th anniversary of the victory.

Sachin had tested positive for coronavirus on March 27, and he decided to isolate himself at home.

Apart from Sachin, cricketers Irfan Pathan, his brother Yusuf and S Badrinath have also contracted the infection.
