Two British sisters reportedly embraced Islam after being influenced by the conduct of the Egyptian professional footballer Mohamed Salah.

Mohamed Salah, who plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool, influenced two girls to convert to Islam during a visit to Aswan in Egypt.

The two sisters, Amy and Nikki, said, “We were influenced by the morals of Muslims in Europe and the humility of Mohamed Salah.”

With these words, they expressed their love for Islam and their happiness in embracing this religion.

Egyptian news website quoted two sisters as saying that their decision to embrace Islam was without pressure from anyone and after proper study of the matter.

Earlier, the famed footballer contributed to building an Azhar religious institute at his own expense, helped construct an ambulance unit for the ambulance authority in Gharbiya, and donated LE50 million to the National Cancer Institute after it was struck by a car bomb in 2019.

The Liverpool striker also established the Nagrig Charity Association in 2017, which helps take care of orphans, widows, the elderly and the sick and provides monthly cash assistance.

The association had helped roughly 400-500 people regularly.
