Alexander Volkanovski wishes to fight UFC star Conor McGregor after eliminating most of his division’s prior champions.

Volkanovski is the world’s number two pound-for-pound fighter who has dominated a number of UFC tournaments.

In his last 21 fights, he has not lost a single match and he recently defended his title against The Korean Zombie at UFC 273 held in Korea.

Volkanovski has defeated both former UFC featherweight champions Max Holloway and Jose Aldo.

“He [Conor McGregor] is the only other champion in my division that I haven’t fought yet,” Volkanovski said. “I’ve beat every other champion, so it makes a lot of sense. It’s something that I want, purely because of money and the circus around it, hype and all that s***.

“I want all the legends in my division. I’ve taken out most of them. He’s one of them as he’s held that belt. I want to take out all the guys that have held this belt and leave no one else in this division but for me. If you want that ‘goat’ status, and that’s what I want, to take out all these guys, so it makes a lot of sense,” Volkanovski said, according to Mirror UK.
