Asia Cup 2022 likely to be moved from Sri Lanka

The upcoming Asia Cup 2022 is reported to be moved from the host country, Sri Lanka.

According to details, the political and economic tensions within the country may be the cause for the shift of the tournament.

The pertaining issue will be discussed in the International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings to be held on April 1o (today).

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja and CEO Faisal Hasnain will also attend the meeting in Dubai.

It is to be noted that the tournament is postponed twice already.

Furthermore, Ramiz will also propose the idea of four-nation super series; including Pakistan, India, England and Australia; at the meeting where all the cricket board officials will be present.
