Tim Seifert tested positive for COVID on Wednesday, bringing the Delhi Capitals’ COVID count to six.

The positive RT-PCR result was obtained after the entire Delhi Capitals squad had undergone two rounds of testing.

There was some ambiguity over the DC-PBKS match, but less than an hour before the toss, the game was officially confirmed as going through as planned.

The game had previously been relocated from Pune to Mumbai in order to “prevent any future issue due to any undiagnosed case during a long-distance bus travel in a closed environment.”

With only a day between Delhi’s next match – against Rajasthan – and the Wankhede stadium, the match has also been relocated from Pune to Mumbai.
