IPL 2022: Venue for Playoff matches

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 playoffs will be place in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with the final planned for May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat’s capital.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Apex Council made the decision, which also confirmed that the Women’s Twenty20 Challenge will be hosted in Lucknow.

On the 24th and 25th of May, Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be conducted in the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, while Eliminator 2 and the final will be held in Ahmedabad on the 27th and 29th of May.

BCCI has stated that the play-offs will be held with a full house.

Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) has been given the three-team Women’s T20 Challenge, which will be held in Lucknow from May 24-28 and will include Trailblazers, Supernovas, and Velocity.

After the ongoing women’s Twenty20 Trophy in May, the squads will be chosen.

The selectors will have to decide whether to pick the Big Two in Indian women’s cricket, Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami, who have both retired from T20I cricket.

Meanwhile, BCCI has confirmed that the five-match T20I series against South Africa will be held on June 9, 12, 14, 17, and 19 in Delhi, Cuttack, Vizag, Rajkot, and Bengaluru, respectively.
