Despite his doping controversies, John Fury believes Jarrell Miller deserves another chance in the boxing world.

Jarrell Miller was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden in early 2019.

It could have easily been the biggest fight of his career, but instead, Andy Ruiz Jr. would fight Joshua because Miller tested positive for GW501516, with additional tests revealing EPO and HGH.

After another failure a year later, he took a long break, but he was recently spotted in England, where he was observed participating in Tyson Fury’s training camp.

This Saturday at Wembley Stadium, ‘The Gypsy King’ will face Dillian Whyte, with Miller being brought in to offer the champion something new to work with.

Tyson’s father, John, expressed his gratitude to Miller for his assistance in a recent interview with an international sports website.

“These boys we’ve had in camp are on par with the best out there,” Fury added.

“Jarrell Miller’s name has a stigma attached to it, but he deserves a second chance, and we give people second chances.”

“He was doing his job [at camp], working hard and performing well, and he’s a pleasant young man.”

“It was great having him at camp. In what he’s doing, he’s given us every pound he’s worth. He’s come in, worked hard, and completed his task.”

“Everyone has a past.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Jarrell Miller. When you focus on the past rather than the future, you are more likely to make a mistake. He is still a young man with a lot of life ahead of him”, he remarked.
