Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev believed that the decision of the bilateral series between Pakistan and India should be taken by the governments of both countries.

During an interview, he said that his decision on the bilateral series does not matter.

“My opinion is not important. What is the most important is the country’s policy,” Dev said.

As a sportsman, everyone should be ready to accept the decision of the government, Kapil added.

FOr many years, the matches between the two teams have been limited to only mega events organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Recently in the ICC meeting, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja raised the idea of a quad-nation series with countries including Pakistan, India, Australia and England.

However, ICC rejected the idea amid tight schedules for the countries.
