The first tour of Australia to Pakistan in 24 years concluded with a huge success.

The Aussies claimed the Test series 1-0 and also won the only T20I by 3 wickets last night.

While Pakistan claimed the ODI series 2-1, which was played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi tanked the Australian team and its management for touring Pakistan and making the tour a huge success.

On his Twitter handle, Afridi wrote: “I would like to thank the entire Australian squad & mgmt for coming to [Pakistan] after 24 years.”

He also expressed hope that other big teams will also visit Pakistan.

He also lauded the security forces for all the efforts they made. He also thanked the fans who visited the stadiums to witness the matches and cheer for their team.
