Following the announcement of the rearranged schedules, Liverpool will play twice in the last week of the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will now visit Southampton on May 17, three days after their FA Cup final against Chelsea.

On May 22, they play Wolves at Anfield to finish the league season.

Manchester City’s title challengers and leaders face West Ham at the London Stadium on May 15 before wrapping up at home against Aston Villa on May 22.

City’s rescheduled April fixture sees them play Wolves away on May 11, giving them three league games in seven days.

Liverpool’s match against Southampton was rescheduled after they qualified for the FA Cup final at Wembley on May 14th.

With five games remaining in the Premier League, this season’s Carabao Cup winners trail City by just one point.

Both teams are still in contention for the Champions League title, with the final taking place after the Premier League season concludes on May 28.
