The Ukrainian Premier League season has been canceled due to the country’s ongoing conflict.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the tournament did not restart after a three-month winter hiatus in December.

After the last round of games, Shakhtar Donetsk led the league with 47 points, two points ahead of Dynamo Kyiv.

“The standings as of 24 February 2022 will be the last standings of the season, and no winners will be given,” according to a statement on the UPL website.

The announcement also acknowledged the formation of a working committee to consider the start of the following season.
