Kyle Schwarber gave home-plate umpire Angel Hernandez the scolding he deserved at the end of the Philadelphia Phillies’ game on Sunday night.

With the Phillies behind 1-0 in the ninth inning, Hernandez decided that Schwarber had struck out, despite the fact that the pitch was nowhere near a strike.

It was the ultimate straw in a game marked by multiple missed calls, which Hernandez is no stranger to. Schwarber threw his bat and helmet into the air before yelling expletives at the controversial umpire. Hernandez disqualified him despite the fact that the game was barely minutes away from ending.
