Babar Azam’s Eagles set up a 312-run target for Shaheens

The national players who were part of the ongoing conditioning camp at the National High Performance Center (NHPC) played a practice match at the LCCA Ground.
The players were divided into two teams Eagles led by Babar Azam and Shaheens led by Asif Ali.
Shaheens bowled out Eagles for 311 runs in 48.4 overs and will bat today to chase the target of 312.

Babar remained the top run-scorer after a 72-run knock. He batted twice. Fakhar Zaman (67) and Imam-ul-Haq (68) opened the inning.
Babar was dismissed for 18 runs and scored 72 runs off 62 balls before retiring. He smashed six fours and a six.
Right-hand batsman Iftikhar Ahmed also displayed great batting. He scored 67 runs off 68 balls with two maximums.
The Eagles’ Mir Hamza, Shahnawaz Dahani, and Arshad Iqbal each took two wickets. One wicket was taken by Zahid Mahmood.
It is to be noted that Pakistan recently announced a 16-man squad for the home ODI series against West Indies.
The series is scheduled to start on June 8.
