Lahore: Pakistan women’s team captain Bismah Maroof’s infant daughter, Fatima, and mother, have been denied access to the Commonwealth Games village.

The administration of the Commonwealth Games Village in Birmingham denies access to the Games Village.

PCB sources said Bismah Maroof’s daughter and mother will stay in a hotel outside the village,

The PCB had sought permission from the Commonwealth Games administration for the

Bismah’s daughter, two, will have to withdraw from the 22-member squad in place of her mother, the management responded to PCB.

The Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham, UK from July 25 to August 8.

Bismah Maroof, captain of Pakistan’s women’s team, stayed with her daughter to the ICC Women’s World Cup.
