This year’s Asia Cup is likely to be shifted from Sri Lanka due to the ongoing economic crisis.

The most probable host for the tournament is Bangladesh.

The Asia Cup could not be held in Pakistan or India due to geopolitical tensions, which left UAE and Oman.

However, both Oman and UAE may not be the best choice due to intense hot weather.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is in full support to host the upcoming tournament.

The BCB President Nazemul Hassan says that Bangladesh will be the first choice if the authorities decide to shift the tournament.

However, no final venue has been decided as of yet.

The tournament will begin on August 27 and will end on September 11.
