Katherine Brunt and Natalie Sciver, both of England’s women’s cricket team, married in a private ceremony over the weekend.

Heather Knight, Danni Wyatt, Isa Guha, and Jenny Gunn, as well as current and former members of the England squad, attended the ceremony.

Brunt and Sciver were part of the winning ODI World Cup team in 2017. The pair also played in the 2022 ODI World Cup, where England came in second.

Sciver scored an unbeaten 148 off 121 balls in a losing cause against eventual champions Australia at the recent ODI global event in New Zealand.

In October of this year, Sciver confirmed her engagement to Brunt.

The couple had planned to marry in September 2020, but were forced to postpone due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

England Cricket stated in a tweet, “Our warmest congratulations to Katherine Brunt & Nat Sciver who got married over the weekend.”
