The first part of the national cricketers’ conditioning camp has begun at the National High Performance Center (NHPC) in Lahore.

The coaches presented lectures during the first day of the camp’s introductory session. The inaugural session was attended by former cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed and NHPC coach Omar Rashid.

The goal of the camp was conveyed to the players by national cricket team batting coach Muhammad Yousuf, bowling coach Shaun Tait, and fielding coach Abdul Majeed.

Due to abroad commitments and the passing of Zahid Mehmood’s mother, Pakistan’s all-format captain Babar Azam will join the camp on Friday.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, and Mohammad Waseem Jr missed the first session of the camp. All three players will join the rest of the squad this evening.
