Kylian Mbappe claims he has “almost” decided whether to stay at Paris Saint-Germain or join Real Madrid.

When asked if he had made a decision after winning his third-best player of the season award in a row in Paris on Sunday, he said, “Yes, yes almost.”

The wait to know if the 23-year-old transfers to Madrid or stays with PSG to help them win the Champions League “is almost over,” he continued.

He intends to “announce” his choice before France’s Nations League match against Denmark on June 3.

Refusing to divulge anything further despite being given ample opportunity to do so at the awards ceremony he thanked “PSG, which enabled me to be here, my teammates and coach.”

He added: “My story goes on, I keep on winning, I’m never satisfied, and that’s good.”

Also attending the awards dinner was his PSG captain Marquinhos whose only comment on the issue keeping PSG fans and their Real counterparts awake at night was: “I hope that next season he will win this trophy again.”

A French tabloid stated last week that the French World Cup winner had agreed to stay at PSG for another three years in principle.

His mother instantly denied this claim.

Mbappe has made no secret of his desire to play for Real, who are in the Champions League final after winning the Spanish league for the 35th time.

PSG, on the other hand, is fighting to keep hold of its most valuable asset, despite winning Ligue 1 for a record-equaling ninth time and infuriating their die-hard fans with their Champions League last-16 elimination to Real.
