Pak vs SL: National women team restricts Sri Lanka at 106/8 in opening T20I

In the opening T20I of the three-match series, Pakistan restricted Sri Lanka to 106/8 at Southend Club in Karachi.

After winning the toss, the visitors were unable to capitalize and lost wickets at regular intervals.

With scores of 25, Nilakshi de Silva and Harshitha Madavi were the standout batters. Tuba Hassan, a leg-spinner, claimed three wickets for eight runs in her first outing.

Anam Amin claimed three wickets for 21 runs, while Aiman Anwar claimed two wickets for 32 runs.

Sri Lanka will play three Twenty20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals in Karachi. The final two Twenty20 Internationals will be played on May 26 and 28.
