PCB postpones second phase of conditioning camp

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) postponed the second phase of the ongoing conditioning camp at the National High Performance Center (NHPC) Lahore in spite of rising political tensions.

The second phase was due to start on May 26 after the conclusion of the first phase today (May 25).

27 cricketers took part in the first phase while 28 players were called for the second phase.

The PCB said that the new dates will be announced in due time and has directed the players to return to their respective cities.

Pakistan is set to play the home ODI series against West Indies from June 8 to 12 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, while Multan is set as a backup in case of any unexpected situation occurs.
