Tottenham beat Leicester, with Son Heung-min scoring twice and Harry Kane rediscovering his goal-scoring touch.

The result boosts Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the Premier League’s top four.

Kane, who had gone goalless in his previous five Spurs outings, scored the game’s first goal from Son’s corner.

After being picked out by Dejan Kulusevski, Son stroked in the second and then curled in a spectacular third.

With a precise strike, Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho scored a consolation goal.

Spurs have climbed to fourth position, displacing Arsenal, who will play West Ham later on Sunday.

“It was a fantastic afternoon, a fantastic match, and a fantastic team performance. We deserved it completely,” Son, who has 19 league goals this season, acknowledged.

With the next game coming in the middle of their two-legged Europa Conference League semi-final against Roma, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers made eight changes to his starting XI.

The Foxes are currently 11th in the Premier League, thus winning Europe’s third club cup appears to be their only realistic way into continental competition next season.
