Shadab Khan praises Tuba Hassan for her performance against Sri Lanka

At the Southend club in Karachi, Pakistan’s women’s team handily defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the first T20I of the three-match series.

Tuba Hassan, a debutant, led with a comprehensive bowling performance, earning the best bowling stats for Pakistan Women in T20I on her debut.

Sri Lanka were reduced to 106/8 in four overs by the leg-spinner, who finished with figures of 3/8 in four overs. The home team finished the chase in 18.2 overs.

Meanwhile, Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s limited-overs vice-captain, hailed Tuba’s high-quality leg spin and said she is “a star in the making.”

The second T20I of the series between the two teams will take place tomorrow, with the final match on May 28.
