Sri Lanka is hoping to host the Asia Cup cricket tournament after the worst economic crisis.

Sri Lankan cricket official says reports that the Asia Cup will be moved to another country are not true.

According to Sri Lankan media, the Asia Cup is likely to be held in Sri Lanka in the current situation.

Note that the Asia Cup is scheduled in Sri Lanka from August 27 to September 11.
