Teams at the Women’s European Championship will be entitled to make changes to their lineup until the first game due to illness or injury.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Uefa executive committee adopted specific rules for the event, which will be held in England from July 6 to July 31.

Squads must be announced by June 26th, however limitless changes can be made for medical reasons between then and July 6th.

This includes players who use Covid or must self-isolate.

Goalkeepers can also be replaced in between games for these reasons, even if the country has other keepers available in the roster.

In the meanwhile, Uefa has barred Belarus and Ukraine from competing in any men’s or women’s football competitions until further notice.

Belarus has been barred from playing home games since March after being accused of “facilitating the [Russian] invasion [of Ukraine] from within its borders.”
