A mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, murdered 18 children and three adults on May 24. The deaths of the victims, as well as the shooter, an 18-year-old male, were verified by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

Prior to Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Warriors and the Mavericks on Tuesday, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr came to the microphone to condemn the massacre and offer an emotional address, encouraging US Senators to reevaluate their positions on gun regulation in the country.

In the past, Kerr has been one of the league’s most vocal advocates for gun regulation.

As Kerr stated, Game 4 between the Warriors and the Mavericks will take place on Tuesday night in Dallas, Texas.
