Molano disqualified after hitting rider two times in Criterium du Dauphine

  • Colombia’s Juan Sebastian Molano was excluded from the Criterium du Dauphine on Friday after the UAE Emirates rider hit one more rider two times in the 6th stage.

Molano was spotted contending with his Intermarche-Wanty-Gobert rival Hugo Page late in the 6th stage prior to shaking his bicycle.

The 20-year-old Page didn’t answer genuinely to Molano’s activities.

“Clearly there’s a battle for position, he was upset and he gave me a decent whack on the head. I didn’t respond in light of the fact that it’s not in that frame of mind of the game. What he did is inadmissible,” VeloNews cited Page as saying.

“He offended me, however it’s not my issue to worry about. I’m just keen on my own run, and I don’t have the foggiest idea why he was irritated.”
