Paul Pogba’s exit from Manchester United has been confirmed.

Pogba, 29, will depart United on June 30 when his contract expires, exactly ten years after he left the club by running down his contract.

Pogba is set to return to Juventus, which he joined from United in 2012, according to the Manchester Evening News three weeks ago.

Pogba re-signed for United for a world-record £89 million in 2016, and in his first season, he won the League Cup and the Europa League, scoring in the latter final.

The rest of Pogba’s United tenure, on the other hand, was tumultuous and full of mishaps.

In January 2018, his late agent, Mino Raiola, offered Pogba to Manchester City and stated that the Frenchman’s United career will be “finished” in 2020.

Pogba took to Twitter to celebrate Jose Mourinho’s dismissal in December 2018 and openly stated in July 2019 that it was “time for a challenge someplace else.”

Despite a strong start to the 2021-22 season, Pogba was dropped after a 4-2 loss to Leicester City in October, and he was sent off a week later in Liverpool’s 5-0 thumping.

On his farewell outing at Old Trafford against Norwich in April, Pogba cupped his ear to United fans chanting “F—k off Pogba.”

Three days later, he made his final appearance for United against Liverpool at Anfield, although he was forced to leave after only ten minutes due to injury, with United already down 1-0.

Pogba has scored 39 goals in 233 appearances for United.
