Skocic, adding that “there are unsubstantiated reports that few Iranian competitors have a decent opportunity to supplant Skocic”.

The move comes after Skocic, who took over from Marc Wilmots as mentor in February 2020, got the Iranians a spot at the World Cup by fixing their capability bunch in front of South Korea.
