Azam Khan should play for Barbados Royals in the impending season. The right-hander made his CPL debut in 2021 for a same franchise.

The PCB has taken the choice in light of the fact that CPL will conflict with the National T20 Cup in Pakistan. The board maintains that Khan should give need to homegrown cricket.

The 33-match two-leg National T20 will be held in Rawalpindi and Multan from August 30 to September 19.

It should be noticed that CPL, which incorporates six groups, will start on August 31 with the last set to be played on September 30.

Be that as it may, rest of the players, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim and Qasim Akram, were given NOC by the PCB.

Pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim will address Jamaica Tallawahs. Amir addressed the Barbados Royals last season, guaranteeing 11 wickets at a normal of 13.54. Then again, Wasim has been held by the establishment.

In the mean time, newbie Pakistan all-rounder Qasim Akram was drafted in by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

Akram will fill in for Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga for the initial not many matches of the Patriots season. The Pakistan young person drove the Pakistan group which partook in the U19 Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean recently.
