Kalyan Chaubey, Newly elected AIFF president on Monday said that he will keep up with the rules of FIFA and will attempt.

To take Indian football to another high. A former Mohun Bagan and East Bengal star, Chaubey was chosen as the AIFF President on September 5.

In a cooperation with India Today, Kalyan Chaubey talked about his impending difficulties and focused on that he will think of a guide for Indian football in 100 days or less. Here is the extract:

Q. How testing this political decision was for you?
Kalyan: You realize Bengal is known for its football legacy. I’m extremely cheerful and appreciative to each and every individual who invited me so well. We will set a plan for Indian Football. I will sit along with all the board individuals, beginning from leader, specialized what not.

Kalyan: Within 100 days, we AIFF will think of another guide for Indian Football. Then, at that point, we will sit with the games serve and different services also. We will sit with the training clergyman moreover. We will talk about this with different boss clergymen of states since everybody’s participation is required and we want to develop state level football.

Q. Bhaichung Bhutia challenged political race against you. Will you welcome Bhaichung to work with you and shouldn’t something be said about other ex-footballers?
Kalyan: Everyone is gladly received. Ex-footballer Manoranjan Bhattacharjee, Sabir Ali, every one of them will be incorporated. Additionally, IM Vijayan is the specialized board. From the North East, Lindo is there, from Odisha, Pinki is there, Harjinder Singh from Punjab. Many are on this council. We will utilize the experience of executives and footballers. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a fantasy to take Indian football forward. We need to succeed. We will keep up with the rules of FIFA and will work as needs be to take Indian Football to another high.

Q. After you got chosen, did you sit down briefly to chat with PM Narendra Modi or Union home priest Amit Shah?

Kalyan: The primary objective is to sit with the new advisory group. I’m extremely appreciative that after such countless years, races were led and we got the potential chance to address.
