Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar gave Pakistani skipper Babar Azam his hand-signed hat.

Babar was invited to a special dinner held by Matthew Hayden, the Pakistani team’s batting coach for the T20 World Cup 2022, along with his colleagues and coaching staff.

In a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Gavaskar is seen meeting Babar, all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, batting coach Mohammad Yousaf, and head coach Saqlain Mushtaq of the Pakistani team (PCB).

Gavaskar gave Babar the opportunity to learn from him. The cricketer-turned-commentator gave a signed cap to the Pakistan skipper in the meantime.

It should be remembered that the Pakistani team fell to England by six wickets in their T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up match today. On October 23, Pakistan will face their bitter foe India in the main event’s opening match.
