The Netherlands’ goal was set by Namibia on Tuesday at 122 for their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 match in Geelong.

However, the Netherlands bowling attack gave Namibia a tough time and limited them to 121 runs. Jan Frylinck produced 43, the top score for Namibia, and opener Micheal van Lingen scored 20. Six wickets fell to Nambia, resulting in a 122-run target.

Rotating bowlers was a smart move by the Netherlands bowlers to ensure that, later on, on an apparent batting surface, they would be chasing a manageable score.

Bas de Leede appeared to be the only bowler to record multiple successes, taking two wickets for 18 runs.

Namibians, on the other hand, are attempting to win two games in a row in the event and, with a win, might advance to the Super stage.

The only change from the team that narrowly defeated the UAE on Sunday was the substitution of Timm van der Gugten for Logan van Beek. Netherlands, the opponent in this game, is also unblemished in the competition.

Divan la Cock, Stephan Baard, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Gerhard Erasmus (captain), Jan Frylinck, JJ Smit, David Wiese, Zane Green (wk), Bernard Scholtz, and Ben Shikongo make up Namibia’s starting lineup.

Max O’Dpwd, Bas de Leede, Colin Ackermann, Tom Cooper, Scott Edwards (c, wk), Roelof van der Merwe, Tim Pringle, Timm van der Gugten, Fred Klaassen, and Paul van Meekeren make up the Netherlands XI.
