At the Adelaide Oval, England cruised to a 10-wicket victory on Thursday, chasing down the 169-run goal with four overs left to set up a final against Pakistan, the traditional opponent of India, on Sunday.

The damage was done by the opening pair of Alex Hales (86 not out) and Jos Buttler (80 not out) against a subdued Indian bowling performance that lacked both fire and fury.

India is considered to be the best T20 team in the world, but they faced criticism for their sluggish powerplay performance, scoring just 38-1 after their first six overs as England sped to 63 without loss.
